TroubledTeenHelp.com was founded in 2001 by Dore Frances, M.A., founder of Horizon Family Solutions. The intention of this site is to bring accurate, detailed, monitored information to guardians, families, parents and professionals. When there is a child, adolescent or young adult making inappropriate choices for themselves, having accurate information can assist with the stress of making such an important decision, such as outside help.  

This site - TroubledTeenHelp.com - has assisted hundreds of families and professionals. Dore Frances understands that each child, each family member and each person involved from start to finish, must be taken care of with dignity and respect. Every situation is different, even when it seems the same. Every family has their own beliefs, concerns, financial situation, insight, and time line in which they must consider when getting help for a family member. Although not the first original website online that provided information on schools, services and programs for struggling teens and young adults, those that have supported this site have done so in a collaborative manner and not a competitive manner.  Each person, program, service, school, understands their own invaluable resource as just one of many available. Each program, service and school found on this website has the pure intention of assisting and supporting each child, adolescent, young adult and family to a future path of reunification and success for the future.
