Academy at Sisters is pleased to announce that we’re using Live Video Streaming to capture our special events
We have hired StreamIT, Inc., a local Bend company to film and webcast special events happening at the Academy so that family members who aren’t able to make the event, can still be a part of the action while it’s taking place. The videos are also available for purchase. Our first experience with StreamIT was for a student’s Program Graduation in April. Those unable to attend the ceremony were able to view live and be a part of the audience.
Chesley Strowd, Admissions Director is excited about the ability for families and Educational Consultants to view their students’ Portfolio Presentations if they’re unable to attend, as well as high school and Program Graduations and other amazing activities or special events.
Stephanie Alvstad, Executive Director of J Bar J Youth Services, Parent Organization for Academy at Sisters states, “It’s so important to have this option for our families; and it doesn’t stop there. We will also be able to provide trainings for our staff that can be viewed live or at a later date”.
Academy at Sisters is a therapeutic boarding school for at-risk young women ages 13-18, offering the best in academics, therapeutic emotional growth and family support.
