Horizon Family Solutions Increases Parent Support with New Publications, a Weekly Live Radio Talk Show and a Safe Place to Search for Programs and Schools
Starting with the premise that parenting information, resources and tools need to adjust to current situations, Horizon Family Solutions restructured their current publications and has launched a live weekly radio talk show where parents can call in and speak to the special guests and ask questions.

Horizon Family Solutions, unveils updated parenting tool publications and launches a weekly live radio talk show –
Troubled Teen Help – on
LA Talk Radio, as well as sets the tone for her website TroubledTeenHelp.com to be a safe place for parents when searching for a school or program.
“This is just the first step in the expansion of publications and in connecting parents with professionals that assist children, teens and young adults” states Frances. “My intention is to eliminate as many barriers as possible that stand between a parent needing help for their child and feeling lost on the Internet or isolated in their own home by feeling they are the only one facing these challenges.”

TroubledTeenHelp.com lists programs and schools that have had to apply and go through a background check in order to be approved for advertising. I will not accept adverting nor continue to advertise any program or school that is currently under any type of investigation or is showing in the news that they are facing bankruptcy. Families need to feel they have a safe place to look for assistance and all of our advertisers are supportive of this as a collaborative group."
“Being a parent who had a daughter in residential treatment, I provide the same services and support I required during my own family experience. Anything less would seem hypocritical to me” states Frances. “Newly approved advertisers and other publications for parents and professionals will be rolled out in the months ahead.”

Dore Frances, M.A. offers solutions and support to at-risk adolescents and their families. Dore helps families and their students choose and apply to addiction treatment centers, aftercare/next step transition programs, Christian based schools, clinically based programs, college preparatory boarding schools, eating disorder programs, emotional growth boarding schools as well as boarding schools for students who learn differently and for students who have behavioral and emotional needs. She has been empowering students with solutions and support and helping them make good decisions since 1990 as an Advocate.
