Integral Family Solutions (IFS) reveals the latest concept in addiction   treatment with the official launch of their program and Systemic Shift workshops.  To increase the long term recovery potential for your clients, we invite you to consider this option for the families that you work with. Families become dependent on the focus and attention that the “identified patient’s” dysfunction creates.   Without education and systemic change families will inadvertently push their loved one (“identified patient”) back into that role upon their return home from treatment.

Loa, Utah, January 12, 2010:   Brandi Bradbury, Tacey Wood and the entire team at Integral Family Solutions are pleased to announce the launch of Systemic Shift workshops, available immediately for your clients. Working together with treatment programs and referring professionals throughout the nation, IFS offers a 3 day educational workshop for systemic families, the entire support system, in their hometown while their loved one is participating in treatment for addiction.  This workshop curriculum is focused on the disease of addiction and the maladaptive relationships which lie within and support familial dysfunction. As an opportunity to increase family support and understanding for the “identified patients” recovery, the Systemic Shift workshop is private, interactive and individualized for friends and family members that are dealing with the difficult issues related to having a loved one struggling with addiction; they can find hope in a time of  helplessness. While many programs offer excellent family programs, often times family members find themselves uneducated and ill-equipped to fully participate in those programs.  The goal of Integral Family Solutions is to eliminate that struggle. 

IFS works to provide families with the education they need as they enter their own recovery process. For families that are not currently working with a therapist, IFS will support the family in identifying a home therapist to check in with following the workshop. With trained facilitators located throughout the nation, IFS can offer their workshops at an affordable, all inclusive price to families.  Reduced contract rates are available for professionals and treatment programs.
