Mountain Springs Announces
Do you have a student who is close to graduating from a therapeutic boarding school, RTC or wilderness program? Perhaps home is not a good option or they are close to graduating high school and need some time to practice skills in a safe environment.
Mountain Springs Preparatory Academy is a co-ed, transitional boarding school for adolescents age 14 - 18+. We specialize in helping students step-down from a higher level of care and practice the skills they have learned in a less restrictive environment.
Three Reasons to Consider Mountain Springs as an Option:
1. Individualized Programming. Mountain Springs provides an individualized plan for each student to ensure that they are working on accomplishing the goals that will help them succeed in life.
Through our unique MAPP (Master Academic and Personal Progress) plan program, each student works on goals focused on academics, personal progress, family and future planning.
2. Flexibility. Mountain Springs only requires a four month stay. We have rolling admissions (we can bring a student in at any time and move them forward academically). We are very flexible with parent visits and home visits. We always make decisions that are in the best interest of the student, even if that requires us to change an element of the structure or program to accommodate certain needs.
3. Emphasis on Strength-Building. Mountain Springs is a practice environment. We provide students opportunities to grow and develop, and the support and guidance to learn from mistakes. Problems are viewed as opportunities for growth and learning. Mountain Springs' character development curriculum emphasizes leadership, value-governed behavior and striving for excellence.
