Runnymede School in Southwest Missouri now accepting applications for immediate enrollment for boys 9-14 years

It is with great anticipation and excitement that Runnymede School is now accepting students. This school has been a dream and vision for director Bob Brandon for several years. It is located on 31 rural acres and is a small working farm. It will provide Biblical counseling and plenty of hard work designed to help transform young boys lives but is not an institution or group home.

Runnymede is unique in that it will be accepting only 4 students at a time to ensure quality one-on-one care at all times and to limit the "peer pressure" influences. The boys will be fully participating in the daily farm life which includes milk cows, beef cows, horses, goats, pastured poultry, eggs, gardening, etc.

The farm is striving towards self-sustainability which will include raising all the meat, vegetables and dairy eaten on the farm plus some larger-scale farming of grains to feed the animals. The school is located in a beautiful rural setting and will provide the boys with what boys truly need; fresh air and places to run. There will be opportunities to fish, canoe, sled, camp, run and play. Bob Brandon is the director of the school but he will also be the one who is primarily involved with the boys' daily lives.

Bob is a credentialed teacher with over 20 years of experience working with young people through teaching, coaching various sports and church involvement. Five of those years were teaching in a large residential care facility where his dream of something better for young boys in trouble was fostered. He is also the father of eight children and has been married to his partner in the vision of Runnymede, Susan, for 20 years.
