Summit Prep Grads Speak for Red Ribbon Week
 
Each year students from Summit Prep are invited to visit a school in the Flathead Valley during Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in schools across the nation. On Wednesday October 28th, recently graduated students Tori and Samantha were guest speakers in the 7th and 8th grade classrooms at West Valley Elementary School.  Tori and Samantha each shared their story of how substance abuse impacted their lives and damaged their relationship with their families. 
 
They spoke of the work they had to do to get their lives back on track and what it has meant to them.  Both girls graduated Summit Prep School on November 23rd and plan to attend college in the spring.
 
Summit Preparatory School is located in Kalispell, Montana.
