The Deck House School is pleased to announce that we are becoming a year round school.

Starting this summer we will be offering a full-length summer trimester as part of our regular school year. During this trimester, students will carry a full class load and participate in both community service and co-curricular programs. Due to the wide variety of natural resources in the mid coast region of Maine, we expect to have more opportunities for educational field trips. Students will be welcome to join us for just a summer or to use the summer trimester in conjunction with our traditional school year. We have been talking with some of you as we design a trimester that will best serve our student’s needs. If you have any thoughts or suggestions as we put the finishing touches on our schedule, please do not hesitate to give us a call. We will be following up with more information shortly. 

For those who may not be familiar with The Deck House School, we are a small (12 student maximum) boarding school for boys who have had difficulties in more traditional academic settings. These are boys who, although they do not need a therapeutic setting, will benefit from being a member of a small and supportive learning community.
